What beauty trends are you noticing for the summer?
Summer always seems to bring my favorite wedding hair trends. This year has included bridal updo’s to beat the summer heat. Most brides are jazzing up their updo by adding in a braid, some fresh flowers or a flower crown. Makeup has consisted of soft pink blushes layered perfectly with a sun-kissed highlighter and a soft brown smokey eye.

What advice do you have for a bride trying to find the right look for her day?
If you’re in search of finding the perfect look for your wedding day stick to pictures of girls with the same color and texture hair as your own. Blonde styles always have more depth and shadows and can mislead a brunette. Same goes for your eye color. Choose a picture with the same color eyes as your own so you don’t create a misleading end result. If you find a picture of a look you love send it to your wedding hair and makeup artist along with a head shot of yourself and they will be able to guide you in a realistic direction.

Any other helpful beauty tips for brides-to-be?
Every bride should add a good face cleanser as well as moisturizer to their makeup toolbox. Keep in mind that prepping your skin for your big day begins long before the morning of your wedding. Get with an esthetician and start a routine skin regiment by pampering your skin and shaping those eyebrows. Your skin will be the foundation of your look and it needs to be solid. If you battle with acne, redness or aging skin this can be a slow battle, so the sooner you start the better.
